Production
Drums, bass, samples, synths, sound choice and turning the first idea into a full track.

Elcee the Architect • Music Production Coaching
Bring me the track. We will work out what it needs and teach you how to get it there.
Who this is for
You can hear where the track should go, but something keeps getting lost between the idea and the finished version.
Maybe the technical side slows you down. Maybe you have watched enough tutorials to know more without trusting yourself any more. I help you close that gap.
You start with a good idea, then lose the feeling while trying to finish it.
You have picked up loads of techniques, but nobody has helped you understand when or why to use them.
Your references are clear, but you want to stop copying the surface and find your own way through it.
You keep changing things because the track feels wrong, without being able to name the actual problem.
Not more random information. A way of working that helps you make decisions and finish music.
The shift
I spent years learning from tutorials, then more years unlearning the things I never properly understood. That is why I teach the principles before the plugins.
Technical control matters, but it is not the whole change. You develop your taste, artistic identity and sense of purpose, so the decisions start coming from you instead of the next tutorial.
We listen first, name the real problem and work from there. You leave knowing what changed, why it worked and how to trust yourself when you face it again.

Why this is different
Most tutorials give you an answer without teaching you how to think. You end up stacking techniques because somebody said they work.
I want you to understand the track in front of you. Everything is in relation to the mix, the performance and the feeling you are trying to keep.
01
Once you understand the foundation, you can use any tools. Without it, the tools start making the decisions for you.
02
No generic exercises for the sake of it. We work on the track and pull the lesson out of the real problem.
03
Technique gives you options. Developing your taste is how you know which option sounds like you.
04
Learn to hear the problem, name it and make the call. The aim is to need less outside feedback over time.
Inside the sessions
Every session starts with what is happening in the track, not a fixed lesson plan.
Drums, bass, samples, synths, sound choice and turning the first idea into a full track.
I primarily teach in Ableton, but the principles carry into any DAW. Audio, MIDI, effects, automation and a workflow that gets out of your way.
Performance, mic technique, comping, vocal chains and choosing the take with the most life.
Balance, EQ, compression, space, low end and understanding how every choice relates to the mix.
Working out what the track is trying to be, how it fits your artistic identity and what needs removing to keep it true to your direction.
Making decisions, moving quickly and knowing when the track is done enough to leave alone.
Proof
I teach from the same work I do every day. I write, produce, record, mix, perform and release my own music, then bring those lessons into the room with you.
